Thread: never full?

    never full?

    do you ever feel this way? I mean i feel like i am always hungry, like what i just ate wasnt enough and i know it was/is.
    i just ate a HUGE salad i made with turkey and cheese and other yummy veggies, even had 5 crackers with it. still hungry!

    I have that problem if I had a wonky day before where I may have missed meals, or had issues with eating food. Like on Thursday nights, I babysit and a lot of times I'm unable to eat dinner before my aunt gets home, so I don't eat dinner that night, and than on Friday I'm ravenous. Drives me crazy.

    Once in a while, I just usually stop myself and tell myself (out loud) that it's enough.

    I feel that way a lot, what I do is just get water, like you said. Drink 8oz and wait 15min if you are still hungry get a snack.

    i tend to eat more when i'm bored, maybe try water in large glass & have about 3 ?

    Crystal lite makes a little powder packet called Hunger Satisfaction. You pour it into a 16.9 oz bottle of water. I find it helpful.

    Now, I don't think that it's really the protein they say that's in it. I think that the powder just flavors the water enough so you can drink it quickly that really fills you...but hey, if it works, I'm good with that.

    So is being overweight. Kind of a trade off....and if I use it to get rid of the last of the weight, I'll give it up when I hit my goal.

    DUH! Its that time of the month. I totally get it!!!
    I drink TONS of water, i fill all 3 of my fav water bottles every morning and put them in the fridge for the day. they are 16 oz (2 of them) and my fav one is 24 oz. but today i watched my calories big time so with that and my period i am sure that is what it is!!!

    I sometimes give myself a few more calories during that time. Esp if its because I starved. a bit of lean protein helps.

    is it the articial sweetners Pinky? I cant drink it either cause of that. nothing diet.

    Yes, my throat swells shut and I go into shock if they don't catch it.

    Anything with nutrasweet or anything like that.

    Although with all my natural cooking and stuff we don't use it anyways.

    i get raging migrains and throw up. Its terrible. I have an uncle the same way and have met other people as well. Have to be really careful when i eat at someones house and even if someone offers me gum, "is it suger-free?" "oh yes" "no thanks"
    i get the wierdest looks haha

    i did find out with my food journal hat my protien WAS very low. so i have learned how to up that while keeping the fat low, not none. I did really well yesterday and have to say i DID feel satisfied most of the day. I got hungry while grocery shopping, it was 430. so the kid and i both had a string cheese while we drove home. which by the way was wayyyyyyy yummy, i hadnt had one in ages.

    I have found that I do better if I go do something right after eating. If I engage in something else directly after eating I forget about eating/I'm good. Otherwise I just sit & think about how I'm still "hungry" & I want more food,etc.

    And Crystal Light? Ummm, yeah that's about the only way I can tolerate water unless I've just finished working out or something. I have to literally be dying of thirst before I can stand regular water.

    I get that way alot, esp. when I have lunch/supper with little protein. I generally turn to peanut butter by the spoonful. 1-2 of those and I am good to go.

    i actually add alot of protien to a salad, cheese and chicken. we had a huge salad for lunch. it was very good. i have been very good to about snacking, HAVING them. an apple and cheese. very good, perfect fit till next meal and i dont feel hungry. going to go make dinner now

    i eat nuts also.. the trail mixes are really good to fill you up..not the ones with chocolate chips..
    all the aspartame is not good for anyone.. very bad for you.. also to spruce your water up.. freeze fresh fruit and add it to your water.. 1 or 2 like berries and lemons.. very good for you also. i add lemon and lime to mine. i have recently lost 25 pounds.. those were my tricks..
